On Saturday 18th Mark (Jimmy) M0MJH put the callsign MX0HTJ on the air.
He also made a point to try to work lots of UK M3/M6/2E stations.
When I get the log, I’ll update this post with more details.

Earlier today we had our first meeting to plan the trip. So far we had used a shared Google Doc to plan ideas.
Last week I sent an email to the team to meet in the Google Docs chat widget. We would then move to Skype once some had showed up. I was half expecting no one to show up. At 8pm only 3 people were in the doc, but within minutes we had about 6 or 7. Much better.
The chat went on for hours. We discussed a lot to do with the trip including travel, accommodation, catering, radio & antenna setup, operating, T-Shirts, and even some ideas for when we have a free day on the Monday.
It’s a good thing we have 2 or 3 people on Guernsey so they can help to organise & check things out there.
One good thing is this trip is looking more & more likely to happen.
See you in the Contest, de MPØHTJ
Logged in earlier and we now have a Club Callsign for hamtests.co.uk & net of MØHTJ or MXØHTJ.
The turkey has barely settled in our stomachs, the team from Hamtests and their chatrooms friends have spent time over Christmas & New Year formulating a plan for operating a Contest in 2011.
The location kind of picked itself as we had a long term invite to visit Guernsey from a regular in the Chatroom. We are still sorting where exactly, but it will be from Guernsey.
Oh, and the Contest. The IOTA (Islands On The Air) Contest in the last full weekend of July 2011.
We’ll update the site when we have more details.
